School is one of the most important institutions in our society because of its function of spreading knowledge and educating students. In current society, the fast development of technology and media has provided more space for future education, which raises the standard for the facilities in schools. Although hiring famous teachers is important for the future development of a school, it is of greater necessity for schools and colleges to fit into the trend of new technology and improve their facilities.

Firstly, the facilities for teaching and learning are basic elements in a school, and they are closely connected with students' study and life. Facilities and equipment with high quality could make students feel more comfortable and increase their efficiency. For example, the library in our university has developed a system for choosing the seat recently. Students must choose their seat online before taking a seat to study. If a student leaves the seat for more than an hour, the seat will be released from the system and other students may use it. This system makes it very convenient for students to use the library, and makes the library a harmonious and comfortable place, without students arguing and sometimes even fighting for a seat. If a school could develop more facilities for students, it could also attract more potential students to attend the school.

Secondly, improving facilities like computers and labs will introduce new learning methods and technology to the school. For some science courses, the learning facilities like labs are crucial for students to understand the knowledge and principles. For arts schools, students need ample space and materials for painting and design, where better facilities could help students with their creation of artworks.
