Lesson11 指示代词

表示“这个、那个、这些、那些”指向性的代词为指示代词，常见的指示代词有 this，that，these，those。

1. 四个指示代词的区别

（1）this，these 指在时间或空间上离说话人较近的人或物

☆ This is a duck. 这是一只鸭。

☆ These are her roses on this desk.

这些在这张桌子上的是她的玫瑰。

☆ I haven’t seen you these days.

最近一直没见你了。

（2）that，those 指在时间或空间上离说话人较远的人或物

☆ That is a chicken.

那是一只鸡。

☆ Those are your books on that desk.

那些在那张桌子上的是你的书。

☆ I’ll never forget those days when we enjoyed ourselves last summer.

我永远不会忘记去年夏天我们尽情享受的那些日子。

（3）指示代词的单数和复数

this，that 指代的是单数名词或不可数名词。

these，those 指代的是复数名词。

This/That is a book. 这/那是一本书。These/Those are books.

这/那些是书。

2. 指示代词的用法

（1）在句子中作主语、宾语和定语等

☆ These are my boots. 这些是我的靴子。（指示代词 these 在句中作主语）

☆ I like that. 我喜欢那个。（指示代词 that 在句中作宾语）

☆ This book is mine. 这本书是我的。（指示代词 this 在句中作定语）

（2）用于介绍别人或指代提及之事

☆ Hello, everyone. This is Lisa. She is my classmate.

大家好，这是丽萨，她是我的同学。

this 和 these 也用于指代接下来要说的内容。

☆ Please remember this: practice makes perfect. 请记住：熟能生巧。

that 和 those 用来指代上文提到的事。

☆ He went to the doctor’s. That’s why he didn’t go to school this morning.

他去医院了，那就是他今早没去学校的原因。

（3）用于电话术语

this 指自己，that 指对方。

☆ --Hello! This is Lisa speaking. Who is that? 你好！我是丽萨，你是谁？

--Tom speaking. 我是汤姆。
