  • Both bi-directional relationships and the CROSSFILTER() function can be used with DirectQuery models
    • The Global DirectQuery setting Allow unrestricted measures needs to be enabled to use CROSSFILTER()
  • The additional SQL queries generated may negatively impact the performance depending on the model and source system
