3.25　Concentrated Earth-termination system

An auxiliary earth-termination system laid for the purpose of reinforcing the lightning current dissipation effects and reducing the potential to earth，generally comprised of three to five vertical earth electrodes in ordinary regions and of three to five horizontal electrodes that are radially arranged in high soil resistivity regions，for instance，the earthing electrodes vertically laid in the vicinity of a lightning rod.
