3　Equipment Foundation，Foundation Bolt and Base Plate

3.1　Hand-over and Acceptance of Equipment Foundation

3.1.1　Prior to equipment installation，the foundation shall be subject to hand-over and acceptance.The equipment shall not be installed on the foundation which is not subject to hand-over and inspection.The hand-over and acceptance of equipment shall meet the following requirements:

1　The data for hand-over shall be completed and with attestation from the engineering quality inspection department and the engineering supervising department.

2　The test record for foundation concrete block shall be checked and the foundation strength shall comply with the requirement of the design technical document.

3　The following contents shall be inspected and in accordance with related requirements of the design technical document or the current national standard General Code for Construction and Acceptance of Mechanical Equipment Installation Engineering GB 50231:the coordinate，elevation and dimension of the foundation；the plane position and elevation of foundation bolts；the position，size，depth and verticality of preformed holes.

4　The laitance，greasy dirt，broken stones，soil and water shall be completely removed from the surface of foundation and the preformed holes for foundation bolts.

5　The embedded foundation bolts shall be free of damage and protected with grease on its thread.

3.1.2　In case some equipment foundation shall be subject to settlement observation according to the design technical document or related current national standards，the record and observation points for settlement observation shall be handed over and the observation shall be continuously carried out during the equipment installation.
