1　General Provisions

1.0.1　In order to accommodate the development of steel-making industry and boost the technical progress，guarantee the quality and safety of installation of steel-making mechanical equipment engineering，this code is hereby established.

1.0.2　The code shall be applicable to the installation of auxiliary steel-making equipment for converter，electric arc furnace，secondary refining equipment，continuous steel-casting and steel-making equipment，etc.

1.0.3　The installation of steel-making mechanical equipment shall not only meet the requirements of this code but also meet related current national standards.
