3.3　Foundation Bolt

3.3.1　The installation of foundation bolts into the preformed holes shall meet the following requirements:

1　The preformed holes shall be cleaned up.

2　The greasy dirt and scale shall be removed from the foundation bolts.

3　During installation，the foundation bolts shall be set vertically，and any part of them shall be more than 15mm away from the wall of the corresponding holes and keep clear of the hole bottom.After the equipment has been preliminarily aligned and leveled，there should be some clearance between the foundation bolts and the bolt holes for the equipment.

4　The preformed holes shall be grouted according to related requirements of the design technical document or the current national standard General Code for Construction and Acceptance of Mechanical Equipment Installation Engineering GB 50231.

5　In case the strength of grouting materials for preformed holes is up to 75% of the design requirement，the equipment shall be accurately adjusted and the foundation bolts shall be tightened.

3.3.2　The installation of anchor-plate foundation bolts shall meet the following requirements:

1　The anchor-plate foundation bolts shall be provided and applied according to the requirement of the design technical document.

2　The construction of embedded anchor plates shall be under the charge of the civil construction personnel.For the installation of mobile anchor plates，the contact surface between the anchor plate and the foundation shall be treated so as to make them evenly and tightly contact.

3　The unthreaded shank of foundation bolts and the anchor plate shall be painted according to the design technical document.In case of no requirement in the document，they shall be applied with anti-rust paint.

4　The foundation bolts shall be vertically installed.For double threaded foundation bolt，the nut and anchor plate shall be evenly and tightly contact；for T-head foundation bolt，the rectangular head shall be correctly embedded in the rectangular groove according to the marks.

5　Prior to secondary grouting，the sleeve shall be filled with filler and then the sleeve end shall be sealed according to the requirement of the design technical document.

3.3.3　The foundation bolts shall be tightened with proper method to be selected according to the tightening force and the working environment on site，and the tightening force shall meet the requirement of the design technical document.After the foundation bolt has been tightened，its nut shall be exposed or flush with it.
