At this time, there is not enough evidence to establish whether the virus is transmitted from a mother to her baby during pregnancy, or the potential impact this may have on the baby. Stay on guard for an infection during early pregnancy with sustained high fever of above 38.5℃, a situation that might be harmful to embryonic tissues.
Determination of whether a pregnant woman diagnosed with COVlD-19 should continue pregnancy shall be subject to a multidisciplinary consultation, with due consideration on her pregnancy week, severity of infection, among other conditions.
