1．助动词的遗漏

错句1

I seated beside him at that time.

I was seated beside him at that time.

那时我坐在他旁边。

解析 seat为及物动词，be seated作“就座”解。

错句2

They most openly opposed to this reform.

They were most openly opposed to this reform.

他们最公开地反对这项改革。

解析 be opposed to作“反对”解。oppose为及物动词，错句的另一种改正方法是去掉介词to。

错句3

Why college students spend more and more time on the computer?

Why do college students spend more and more time on the computer?

为什么大学生花在电脑上的时间越来越多？

错句4

She travelled a great deal, as most of her friends.

She travelled a great deal, as most of her friends did.

跟她的朋友一样，她到处旅游。

解析 as引导的方式状语从句中的谓语不能省略。正确句子中的助动词did用于代替主句的谓语动词，避免重复。
