The Translation and Interpretation Service in Australia

Abstract  This paper introduces the formation and development of the translation and interpretation service in Australia. It then summarizes the system of translation and interpretation service in Australia and classifies it into two parts: TIS and NAATI. The attributes of the system are explored and a comparison is made between it and the one in China.
